Route 13 Branson West:

Relocation Work Nearing Completion

Project Map

Route 13 through Branson West is a well-developed corridor used by a steadily increasing number of permanent residents and Table Rock Lake area visitors.

To help move traffic more efficiently and still provide convenient access to local businesses, a new 2.7-mile long section of Route 13 has been built. Work began in June 2006. The old road is now a business route.

The new limited-access stretch of Route 13 runs west of the existing road between the intersection with Route 413 on the north and the area near the Maranatha Church on the south end of the city.

Left-turn lanes were built at the north and south ends of the new Route 13 segment and at a new intersection with Route 76 where Route 76 was extended west to meet the new highway.

Enough property was acquired and grading work done to widen the new Route 13 to four lanes in the future.

Estimated cost: $13.3 million.
