Counties:
All work subject to change due to weather or priority adjustments. Motorists are urged to exercise caution while passing through work zones. Workers may be on or near the roadway. Signs will be posted and flag persons will be present in areas where traffic will be impacted. Interstate 44
Phelps County
MoDOT crews will perform milling on the roadway. Milling removes excess material from cracks and
joints.
Location: West bound mile marker 179 to 177.
Pulaski County
MoDOT crews will perform shoulder repairs. This function removes ruts, low areas and high spots on
the shoulders
Carter County
Roadway Maintenance
Route E:
MoDOT crews will patch potholes to restore shape and roadway stability.
Various Routes:
MoDOT crews will perform vegetation control and on replace, install and or maintain roadway signs
Carter County & Shannon County
Route 60:
Contractor crews are constructing lane additions.
Location: from Winona, Mo. to west of Van Buren, Mo. includes grading, paving, culverts and
bridges. Route Y near Fremont is scheduled to be closed from Friday, July 11 at 6 p.m., until
Sunday, July 13 to 8 a.m., in order to reconstruct the intersection with Route 60. Traffic accessing
the Fremont area will utilize various county roads in the area for access to Route 60.

Construction Project
Route 8:
Contractor crews are resurfacing the roadway and constructing shoulders.
Location: Beginning at Steelville and ending east of Route 19, two disconnected sections.

Construction Project
Route 142:
Construction of two disconnected box culverts.
Location:
Beginning east of the intersection of Route JJ to west of the intersection of Route 17 near Lanton, Mo.
Route 60:
Contractor crews are grading, performing drainage work, paving, constructing bridges and
performing signal work.
Location: Beginning Route 63, near Willow Springs, Mo., to east of Route 17 north, near Mountain
View, Mo.

Route 17:
MoDOT crews will perform patching on the roadway. This function restores rideablility of the roadway surface.
Route AM:
MoDOT crews will replace drainage pipes near the roadway.
Routes W, WW, OO, and 17:
MoDOT crews will work on driveways and approaches, perform work to improve drainage and repair edge ruts.
Various Routes:
MoDOT crews will perform vegetation control, clean and reshape ditches, make repairs to driveways and entrances and replace, install and or maintain roadway signs on the right-of-way.
Howell County, Oregon County
Construction Project
Route 63:
Crews will widen and overlay existing Route 63, stripe for alternating passing lanes and perform
bridge rehabilitation.
Location: Beginning south of Business 63 intersection in West Plains, Mo., to Route 19 at Thayer,
Mo.

Route 21:
MoDOT crews will perform concrete replacement on the roadway.
Route 32:
MoDOT crews will perform shoulder repairs. This function removes ruts, low areas and high spots on
the shoulders.
Location: Starting at 21 intersection to the intersection of 49 in Bixby.
Route 72:
Crews will perform deck and sidewalk repairs to the bridge over the Missouri Pacific Railroad near
the intersection of Route 21.

Deck repair to the bridge located over Stouts Creek.
Iron County and St. Francois County
Construction Project
Route 221:
Crews are extending culverts, adding shoulders and constructing both centerline and edgeline
rumblestrips.
Location: Extends from Route 21 in Iron County to Route 67 in Farmington, Mo.

Crews are building asphalt shoulders, installing new pavement markings, including both center line
and edgeline rumblestrips, grading and performing culvert extension work.
Location: From the intersection of Route 21 east of the intersection of Route KK near Garwood, Mo.
Project Length: 9.3 miles

MoDOT crews will pave over the roadway surface to restore smooth ride.
Route Y:
MoDOT crews will repair edge ruts. This function eliminates shoulder drop-off by placing rock or
other material in ruts along the edge of the roadway.
Various Routes:
MoDOT crews will work on driveways and approaches, cut brush and trim trees, perform vegetation
control, perform work to improve drainage and replace, install and or maintain roadway signs.
