MoDOT is developing
a planning framework that provides consistent, objective methods
for involving local officials in identifying transportation needs
and prioritizing transportation projects. This helps us make the
best choices about how to invest Missouri’s scarce transportation
resources.
The planning framework provides a clearly defined role for local
officials in MoDOT’s planning and decision-making processes.
The Overview
Booklet (1.4
mb, 12 pages) is a general-information piece that explains
the Planning Framework and is designed for the general public.
The Executive
Summary (272 kb, 10 pages)
is targeted at local officials, members of the Missouri Highways
and Transportation Commission and MoDOT staff not directly involved
in planning and programming.
The Practitioner’s
Guide (996 kb, 61 pages)
is a tool for regional planning groups, and MoDOT’s planning
and programming staff.
