Route 10 At Fishing River

The Route 10 Bridge in Excelsior Springs is old and in poor condition.
The bridge was built in 1964 and carries more than 7,000 vehicles per day. The existing bridge will be rehabilitated with a new bridge deck this year.

During construction, the road will be closed to traffic near the bridge. Signed detours will be in place during the bridge closure.

Work is expected to get underway this year. Once construction begins, the crew will have no more than 60 days to complete the work
