Route KK Bridge at Owens Branch

Built in 1900, the bride on Route KK over Owens Branch (Bridge Number W0388) west of Smithville is in serious condition. It will close in early March for a complete bridge replacement and will reopen in early April, being closed about 36 days.

Detour for Route KK: To reach the west side of the bridge, traffic will need to take southbound Route 169 to westbound Route 92 and north on Route B. To reach the east side of the bridge, traffic will take Route B south to Route 92 and east to Route 169 north. All detours for this project are on state routes
