External Updates on MoDOT’s KC District’s work

MoDOT is taking additional steps to ensure you are aware of the latest construction-related restrictions. We are highlighting in red each day's new information so that you can forward this breaking news to motorists in a timely manner.

Cass County

New Work Today and Updates/Changes

Route YY:  Permit work will close one lane of Route YY eastbound between Route Y and Route C from Feb. 6 to Feb. 10 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route 71: Intelligent traffic systems construction will close one lane of Route 71 in each direction intermittently from 18th Street to Route 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Feb. 15.  

Route 71: Ramp and bridge construction will reduce Route 71 to one lane in each direction between 289th Street and 327th Street from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through February 28. The work will also close the crossover located at 307th Street. A temporary cross over will be located at 299th Street.

Jackson County

New Work Today and Updates/Change

I-435: Maintenance work will close one lane of I-435 in each direction between Holmes Road and 104th Street from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 8.

I-35: Maintenance work will close one lane of the ramp from I-35 to Broadway Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 7 to Feb. 8.

Independence Ave: Maintenance work will close one lane of westbound Independence Ave near Delaware Streefrom 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.on Feb 9 and Feb. 10.

Front Street:  Pavement construction will close one lane of Front Street in each direction between Chouteau Trafficway and I-435 beginning Feb. 1 to May. 25.

I-35: Culvert replacement will close one lane of I-35 southbound at Broadway Street from Feb 6 to Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.

I-435: Shoulder work will close one lane of I-435 southbound from Route 78 to Stadium Drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through May.

Route 40: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route 40 in each direction between Stadium Drive and Manchester from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through May.

Johnson County

New Work Today and Updates/Changes

Route MM: Culvert replacement will close Route MM near Route 23 on Feb. 8 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lafayette County

New Work Today and Updates/Changes

Route 20: Maintenance work will close Route 20 eastbound between Main Street and Route W from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 8 to Feb. 10.

Route KK: Permit work will close one lane of Route KK southbound between I-70 and Route YY from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Feb. 7 to Feb. 19.

Pettis County

New Work Today and Updates/Changes

Route 65: Maintenance work will close one lane of Route 65 in each direction from Third Street to Route HH from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 10. Flaggers will direct traffic.

Route 65:  Permit work will close one lane of Route 65 between Route 52 and 20th Street from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Feb. 9.

Platte County   

New Work Today and Updates/Changes

Route 45:  New pavement construction will close Hogan Drive from Feb. 8 to Feb. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Route 45: Shoulder work will close one lane of Route 45 intermittently as embankment and shoulder work are completed as part of the bridge replacement on Route 45 near Farley, MO. Work will continue through mid-February.
