Rex Whitton Expressway -- Problem Definition Study
The Rex Whitton Expressway Problem Definition Study was completed in Spring 2006 to identify the existing and potential future traffic and safety concerns along the Rex Whitton Expressway study corridor between Route 179 and the Eastland Drive Interchange. The study also reviewed and identified the existing constraints that would need to be considered as possible improvements are developed. Constraints included natural environmental impacts, socio-economic concerns, flood plains, and historic structures or locations.
