Photos from January 2-5:

These photos show the concrete deck panels in place on the Lake Road 5-89 bridge. The panels provide the bottom layer of support for the bridge deck. The green layer on top of the panels is a steel support structure called a top mat. Once in place, concrete will be poured over the top mat to form the actual bridge deck.

 

Photos from Nov. 27 - Dec. 1:

With center and end supports now in place, work began this week on the girders that will stretch across the new Lake Road 5-89 bridge.

It took approximately one week to position all the girders.

The contractor will place pre-cast concrete deck panels on top of these girders, and the steel and concrete bridge deck will sit on the panels.
